November Digicrop Crafts

The November Digicrop at Flash Image Studio is quickly approaching. This is our second month to have it at our new location and we are loving it. If you missed last month come check out the new place and get a bunch of work done on your Christmas projects!

Bring your laptop, and a smile...there will be snacks, come and go as you please, but most importantly get the time, and support you need to complete all those projects you want for Christmas (or have just been meaning to make).

November Take Home Project: We are offering 3 different items to spruce up your Thanksgiving Holiday. Cost includes everything you will need to assemble them at the Digicrop.

You can make 1 or all 3 if you like. Let me know by October 25th which ones you would like to create. I will be ordering all the supplies by that date.

Reminder: Christmas publishing deadline for everything except cards is December 6th!

FREE scanning: Bring any images you don't have preserved digitally and I will scan them for you. FREE for the first 100 images, 19 cents per scan after that.

FREE Premier Weekend

Heritage Makers is offering a free Premier weekend. Woo Hoo! This means you can start your publishing account, use ALL of the Premier Art (over 45,000 pieces and growing every month), and find out why I love using Heritage Makers for all of my professional and personal publishing.

The company will also be offering some instructional webinars on Thursday night, Friday night, and a show and share opportunity on Saturday afternoon. And, I’m positive there will be special sales for everyone joining us that weekend!

So, what should you do:

1. Make a gift list (birthday, wedding, Christmas, or something for yourself)

2. Gather pictures together (digital or hard copy). If you have pictures you will need scanned, give me a call to set a scanning appointment (I can scan 100 photos in 15 minutes). If you scan your own pictures, remember to scan them at the largest resolution as you can.

3. Make a list of what projects you want to make:

**coffee table books (depending on the size, you will need 40-60 pictures)
**a deck of playing cards (up to 55 pictures; the card deck picture and 52 cards + 2 jokers) or make them into gift tags with 1 photo
**a family cookbook (gather recipes, pictures of family gatherings eating those recipes)
**wall canvases (up to 5 or 6 pictures or 1 very special picture)
**a family calendar (1-3 pictures per month)
**and more.

4. Set up your account in Heritage Makers by going to my WEBSITE!

-Watch a few of the “online classes”

-Check out the Heritage Makers “youtube” channel and watch some of the company videos.

5. Tell your family that you will be busy the weekend of 10/14-17 working on the best gifts ever.

Heritage Makers Template Gallery Scavenger Hunt!

Odds of winning are very high so join the Heritage Makers Template Gallery Scavenger Hunt. With so many beautiful, fun templates in the Template Gallery, you’re sure to have a lot of fun as you take part in this unique hunt.

Here’s how it works: Below you see five images, all projects from the Template Gallery. Your goal is to get the following information on each template:

Template ID

That is the order you will find the information in the Template Gallery.

Hope Run

It was great to be a part of the annual Hope Run at Lake Mary Ronan again.

For the last 3 years hundreds have gathered at Lake Mary Ronan lodge to help support the Montana Hope Project. For this annual fundraiser everyone joins in the fun by riding their atv's, dirt bikes, and other off road vehicles 100 miles and then enjoying dinner and music together, followed by a raffle where many prizes are won.

The Montana Hope Project began in 1984 and the goal of the fundraiser is to make dreams come true for critically ill children in Montana. To date, over 304 wishes have been granted. For more information about the Hope Project please visit: http://www.montanahope.org/
